EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

The Education Department seeks to improve access and participation of all eligible students in education opportunities while coordinating all educational activities in the Diocese. The department provides services through pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools, vocational training institutions, and colleges.

The department is under the care of the Diocesan Education Secretary (DES), assisted by the Diocesan Education Board. Its vision is to provide quality education accessible to all by integrating Christian values for service to society.

Objectives

  • Coordinate pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools, vocational training institutions, and colleges.
  • Integrate Christian values in the delivery of education at all levels.
  • Strengthen the capacity of teachers and school administrators through training and supervision.
  • Monitor academic performance, enrollment, and infrastructure development of Diocesan institutions.
  • Foster collaboration with the government and other education stakeholders.
