JUSTICE AND PEACE COMMISSION
The formation of this commission is a response by the Diocese to social problems that affect human rights within and outside diocesan borders. The commission seeks to combat all forms of injustice through awareness creation, lobbying, and advocacy, as well as establishing systems and structures to address injustices and promote peace, justice, and reconciliation.

Objectives
- Create awareness of human rights and social justice among the faithful and the wider community.
- Lobby and advocate for policy and legal frameworks that protect the marginalized.
- Establish structures at parish, deanery, and diocesan levels for conflict resolution and reconciliation.
- Promote good governance, democracy, and the rule of law.
- Support victims of injustice through accompaniment and legal assistance.
- Cooperate with other Church and civil society actors in peace-building initiatives.
